Aspen
Hello, my name is Aspen (female)
• I was born on November 27, 2022
• I am a shepherd, husky, border collie, heeler mix
• Did you notice my eyes? I have one blue and one brown eye and my foster mom calls me a pretty princess because of it. I’m sure to grow into one stunning dog!
• I’m the most playful, bouncy, snuggly ball of love you’ll ever meet! If I could choose one thing to do all day it would be play and I’ll play with anybody! I can get a little rough sometimes and just need a little guidance on what is appropriate play.
• I’m also very tolerant of others play styles too. I’m just happy to be playing! When I’m done playing, I like to relax and take a nap until it’s time to play again.
• When I’m not playing with my sister or my foster brother, I love to snuggle with my foster parents. Wherever they are is where I like to be.
• I’m still getting used to spending time in a crate/pen but even if I’m a little grumpy about it, I’ll typically calm down after a little while.
• I’m currently training on potty pads until I’m old enough to go outside safely, but I do a really good job using them. My foster mom thinks I’ll get potty training down really quick!
• I love toys, especially if they squeak or we can play tug with them.
• As for sleeping I of course would love to snuggle with you in bed or in a cozy dog bed, but I do tend to get adventurous so sometimes I have to sleep in my pen for my own good, and that’s ok with me too.
• If I could describe my ideal home it would be one like my foster home with lots of friends to play with-dogs, kids, you name it! I can’t wait to meet my forever family!

Elsa
Meet Elsa!
* She is approximately 2-3 yrs old and 45 lbs.
* She is a bright and loving blue eyed girl that will steal your heart!
* She loves her humans and will be attached to your hip a majority of the time.
* She is deaf but that doesn’t stop her from playing and vocalizing with her foster brothers. (She will need a submissive dog friend if she lives with other dogs.)
* Unfortunately, Elsa has had a rough past which has caused some kennel anxiety, however, she has made HUGE improvements over the last month while in her foster home.
* Elsa is very food motivated which has made training a lot easier.
* This food motivation has made her a little protective over her food and bones (but it was never more than telling them to back off), so feeding and enjoying bones will have to be separate.
* She has learned a lot of good behaviors in her foster home, including how to share her toys with her foster brothers
* Her best quality is definitely that she LOVES unconditionally! She has no problem licking your entire face and showing her affection for you!
* Elsa is a very active dog and likes to jump her fence in her foster home to say “Hi” to the neighbors so a 6ft fence is preferred
* Elsa has done very well with her energetic foster brothers so having another active dog would help keep her company and help her learn commands/signs and manners.
* She is very smart and knows “Sit”, “Stay” and “Come” with sign
* No cats, she likes to chase them 😉

* His foster mom did a DNA test on him and he came out to be 33% American Staffordshire Terrier, 26% Siberian Husky, 24% German Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog so we like to call his designer breed “Shepitsky”
* He is approximately 3 yrs old
* He is a very smart boy that is eager to learn
* He knows sit, shake and down
* He is kennel trained
* Mav is potty trained
* He does well in his foster home and gets along with all the pups (big and small)
* He is a LOVER of water (baby pool, lake, canals, etc.)
* He listens well and is easily verbally corrected
* He wants to please his humans and has the cutest smile
* Mav does not like to be confined and if in a city environment will need a 6ft fence
* He does best when he has room to run, roam and explore (he is currently in a foster home in the country/acreage setting)
* An active family that enjoys walks, runs, hikes, etc. would be great!
* He does take a little time to adjust but when given patience, time and love he will be the BEST boy!
* He does get scared easily and was spooked by the shop-vac and air compressor
* He can get a little jealous of other dogs but is easily verbally correct-he will need a confident owner
* NO CATS

Missy
Hi fellow humans!
My name is Missy, I’m so excited to meet you.(insert wiggle butt here!)
I am approximately 6 years old and still have a lot of life and play left in me. Not to mention, my foster mama says I’m a very loving, happy girl.
I was given a second chance at living my best life ever and I want to enjoy every moment. I can’t miss out on what you are up to.
I had surgery on January 23rd to remove a tumor on my jaw. Don’t let that scare you, I’m almost completely healed up and it hasn’t slowed me down one bit.
I almost have this potty training thing figured out. (We think this may be the first time Missy has lived indoors.)
This is a little embarrassing for me, but I do get a little sidetracked at times and want to come back inside and forget to go #2. But, like I said, I’m working on it. I am kennel trained and I don’t leave a mess in my kennel.
I do know some basic commands and I’m doing well with my in house manners.
My foster mom doesn’t let me on the furniture, but that doesn’t bother me one bit because I have a comfy bed to sleep on and enjoy snuggling with my fur siblings.
I do like to go on walks. I especially like to lead the way, I mean, that’s my job, right? I can’t resist! There are so many new smells to check out.
So what do you say? . . . Should we meet and talk treats and neck scratches. (insert head tilts here)

Phillmore
Phillmore is a Black Mouth Cur mix and approximately 6 years old
😞 He fell on to some bad luck in his 6 short years. He was severely neglected by his humans and his collar was imbedded into his neck leaving large open wounds when it was removed
🐾 He was saved from the shelter and adopted, but his human moved and was unable to take him and returned him to our rescue.

💙 He is a sweet boy that just wants to find his forever home.
🩺 He is up to date on vaccinations, is neutered and microchipped.

He is good with people of all sizes! He does well with his small foster fur siblings.
🚫 Large dogs are not his jam.
He does need a fence. He has never had an accident, is fine in the house without being in a kennel. He will snuggle up in his bed while his humans are gone. He does react when a dog goes around his food, but easily corrects.

Blu
Meet Blu!
• She is approximately 2-4 yrs old
• Blu is a people dog and is always wanting to be near someone. This means at bedtime too. She’ll sleep near your bed or in your bed if you save her a spot, as long as she can see you, she’s content.
• Blu is a bit undersocialized and can be a bit intense when not in a controlled environment, therefore would be best as an only dog so she can focus on her human.
• She has a very high prey drive (animals smaller than her).
• Leash training is going well, but she is a smart lil girl so a double safety collar and harness is recommended.
• Blu has the intelligence of the cattle dog but is not as high energy.
• She adores children and men and doesn’t show signs of stress in new environments
• She does okay in a kennel (it’s not her favorite) but will tolerate it as long as she is in a room with a view (so she can see outside)
• There’s no doubt you’ll know when she’s happy because you’ll see her wiggle and dance.
• She enjoys treats and she’s not afraid to tell you which are her favorite and not so favorite
• She will need a fenced in yard with a 6+ foot fence as she is training for the Olympic Pole Vaulting Team.
• Blu is potty trained

Pennie
Meet Pennie!
This sweetheart of pup came from Texas where the outlook for pups is not so bright. Her poor nails were curled so badly they were digging into the pads of her paws, her eyes were so matted, goobery and draining, it was apparent she had just had puppies (probably her 3rd or 4th according to shelter staff) and to top it all off, she was heartworm+.
She had a microchip, however the registered person stated they had given her away 6 months earlier and did not have her new owner’s information.
* Pennie is guessed to be about 6 years old and approximately 43 lbs.
* She would do best in a home as an ONLY dog.
* Pennie also needs a home with older children (10+)
* She LOVES people and will “Stop, drop & roll” in front of people to get her dose of belly rubs.
* She has a personality that is like no other pup and will make you smile all day, everyday!
* Pennie is still learning how to be a pup (yes, at 6 years old) because this poor girl was probably strictly used for breeding :(
* She can be a vocal lil’ nugget when she demands your attention
* She is very food and treat motivated
* She is picking up on learning tricks and is starting to sit.
* Pennie is kennel trained and house trained.
* She LOVES to go on walks and her little strut is the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.
* She also loves squeaky toys and toys with treats inside!
* Pennie also just completed her heartworm treatment. She will need to be checked in 6 months to ensure the treatment was successful.
* This breed can be subject to allergies. Pennie does take Apoquel everyday to stay on top of her eye allergies (approximately $40 a month).
* Pennie deserves to be the center of attention of her future family and we can’t wait to see her thrive!
