Available to Adopt
These pups are looking for their furever homes! They are currently in foster homes, have been assessed by veterinary professionals, and up to date on all vaccinations. They are observed closely by their fosters to ensure that we know as much as possible about them to determine the best environment for them.

Yuji
Yuji is an 80 lb 3 year old mix. He is a big boy with lots of love to give. He was found as a stray, was extremely emaciated and was on death row with a few hours to live and has come a LONG way since then!
As you can see he has filled out to be a beefy boy! Some of his favorite things. . . daily car rides, food, belly rubs, naps, hikes, humans and giving kisses!
He is good with people of all sizes! He does well with his small foster fur siblings.
๐ซ Large dogs are not his jam.
He does need a fence. He has never had an accident, is fine in the house without being in a kennel. He will snuggle up in his bed while his humans are gone. He does react when a dog goes around his food, but easily corrects.
He can also be vocal when he plays.
๐ค He is such a handsome, sweet boy that truly deserves a wonderful forever home!!!

Terrance
Meet Terrance!
* He is a medium sized dog, weighing approximately 40 lbs.
* His breed is a bit of mystery but our best guess is terrier/schnauzer mix. Some say he looks a lot like a Berger Picard. Google it and see what you think!
* He is looking for an active family that will keep him busy and appreciate his goofy shenanigans.
* Get your throwing arm ready because the farther you can throw, the happier he will be!
* Terrance is a friendly, loyal and loving boy.
* He would do best with a family with older children, only because he doesn’t have the best spacial awareness when he’s having fun, and may mistakenly knock down small children
* Terrance is good with other dogs.
* He does get a little too playful with his foster cat sibling and will chase if given the opportunity so we’re recommending a home without cats.
* Terrance can become nervous in situations with large crowds or unfamiliar people and loud noises so slowly integrating him and being patient is very important
* He is house trained and is currently working on kennel training.
* He is also working on his leash manners.

Pork Chop
-
Pork chop is approximately 10-11 months old
-
This lil’ cutie has lots of energy and loves to play.
-
Sometimes he doesn’t realize his own power and he likes to jump (so we recommend no small kids).
-
You’ll know when this little feller is happy by his tail . . . once that thing gets wagging it really gets going.
-
He’s your typical young chewer, so he’ll need lots tough toys and bones to keep him occupied.
-
He will also be a great yard work buddy and happy to help you in finding all the sticks in your yard.
-
He gets along well with other dogs that can match his energy but as always, will need to be supervised to ensure sure he doesn’t play too rough.
-
He knows how to sit, lay down (sometimes), and is treat motivated.
-
Some of his favorite treats include, but are not limited to. . . Beef Liver freeze dried dog treats by Stewart.
-
He is potty trained and hasn’t had any accidents in a long time (but, with all environment changes, dogs may have a couple accidents here and there).
-
Pork Chop is kennel trained

* And the best part, she no longer has a cast and her leg has fully healed!

* She is curious about cats

Bella
Meet Miss Bella Rae
๐พI’m approximately 6-7 months old and weigh 40-45lbs
๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฆ I am a very gentle, docile dog. I need slow introductions to new people as I get nervous
๐ฃI’m a little fearful of humans at first; if I hear loud/strange noises coming from them or someone moves too fast, I get nervous. I am working at trusting people.
๐กWhen a new person enters my safe place (my home), I will alert my humans and bark
๐ฝ I am kennel trained and (for the most part) potty trained
๐ I’m miss independent, I would rather lay on the couch or cool floor than curl up with you. But, at bedtime, I love to snuggle and I’ve been told I’m a “little heater”
โ๏ธI love the sunshine and enjoy laying under a shade tree. Sometimes I get curious and explore a little (I currently live on an acreage)- my foster mom keeps me on a lanyard so I don’t wonder too far
๐พ My foster brothers and sister play fetch- but I don’t understand it and just watch them run. Running looks exhausting
๐ด I sleep either in a kennel or in bed with my humans (I prefer the latter)
โฝ๏ธ I have always had fur-friends, and currently live with 3 black labs who are very fun to play with.
โค๏ธ A few of my favorite things: laying on the cool floor under the kitchen table, finding a trusting human to rub my belly (that’s my favorite), being outside in the sunshine chasing butterflies and bugs, peanut butter (man, I love that stuff)
๐ฆฎ I can sit and lay down. I don’t particularly like leashes, I become stubborn- especially if I feel unsafe- and will lay on the ground. Remember- new people and places make me nervous.
๐ถ I will continue to need to be socialized with various aged people and dogs.

Magenta
Meet Magenta!
• She is a 1 1/2 year old boxer and approximately 65 lbs.
• She is potty trained (uses a bell to let her people know she has to go out)
• Magenta is also kennel trained.
• She is the ultimate sun bather.
• She loves toys and bones and her favorite game is tug-o-war with her foster brother.
• Magenta would do best in a home as an only dog or with a more submissive dog.
• She also loves to snuggle with her humans and sleeps with them at night.
• Magenta is heartworm+ and currently going through her heartworm treatment. (This does not affect other dogs in the home, however, during treatment she will need a calm, relaxing environment as she recovers.)

Lil Moose
* Moose is gentle, so sweet and funny.
* He is believed to be 5 to 6 months old and is approximately 42 lbs
* We are unsure of breed, we're guessing he is some sort of shepherd mix (and will be large).
* He is house broke and knows how to use a dog door.
* He’s a smart boy and knows sit, stay, and lay down
* Moose is also kennel trained.
* He does great on a leash and in the car.
* He does get nervous around cats but has not tried to chase.
* He has played with dogs ranging from 6 lbs to over 100.
* Moose can be timid but is opening up. When you sit down close to him he slowly comes up to meet you and is fine.
* He LOVES being outside, enjoys walks, playing with other dogs, and getting his human’s attention.
* He’s had a professional spa day and was a bit nervous but did very very good.
* He will need a special family to keep working on his confidence, help him to explore his world and continue to socialize him.
* This is definitely a pup that will melt your heart the minute you meet him!

Palmer
Palmer is a part of Chloe's litter. He was born on February 13th and is 11 weeks old.
Palmer is an active puppy who will let you know if he doesn’t like your rules. He is a funny boy with a big personality and often will go to his bed to pout. He’s your typical pup and likes to use his mouth to play, his foster mama is working with him on not mouthing so much. He wants to play with the cats—even if they try to say no. He’s a feisty, fun loving boy!

Sparkle
Meet Sparkle! She is a 1-2 y/o boxer mix
* She is super sweet and well mannered.
* She does well in the crate (night or day)
* She is low energy in the house but loves playing with toys.
* She has impeccable leash manners unless presented with a distraction (occasionally will pull if there’s another dog close and gets a bit nervous as cars go by).
* She will match your speed while walking or running and would make an excellent running companion.
* She knows sit and understands "no".
* She is house trained and appears to be able to hold it all day (despite being let out multiple times during the day).
* She is kid friendly and seemingly dog friendly (She's only been exposed her to large dogs and a calm 6 year old child).
* She is Reactive with cats.

Cash
This handsome, loyal sidekick is โ๐๐ค๐!
He is approximately 7 years old and house & kennel trained.
He knows sit, shake, down & roll over
Cash had some medical attention while at the shelter (growth removed, ACL repaired any tail amputated )
He also doesn’t mind cats as long as they do they do their own thing.
Cash also loves car rides. This sweet boy just needs a place to feel safe and be able to relax with his peeps.

Dawson
Meet Dawson! She literally came to us from one of the worst places we’ve ever seen.
At just 3 years old, Dawson has already had a rough life. She didn't trust, wouldn't let anyone even close enough to pet her. She barked, growled, jumped, and lunged at us for her first day in foster care. She has quickly learned to accept our love (by way of meatball and pupperoni treats). Dawson made huge progress at the vet not only by beginning to accept people but also by getting spayed, UTD, and finally heartworm free! Now she loves her people even rolls to her back for belly rubs (usually as an apology when scolded). She still plays rough and thinks everything is a game of tug. Dawson needs to be with adults or older children who can handle her play aggression. She's crate trained and potty trained. Although she lives with other dogs, she only interacts with them while on leash and would do best as an only dog. She is loved and comfortable in her foster home but needs a forever family that can meet her needs. She needs slow introductions to new people and as she is fiercely protective of those she's learned to trust. Dawson will also need to be on heartworm preventatives for her entire life and seen for regular vet checks due to her previous condition. Give her time and a chance and she'll match your unconditional love.
She’s mighty cute and quite the challenge, but we are confident there’s a family out there that will love her just like her foster family does!

Biscuit
This striking young lady is Biscuit!
* She’s a 2 yr old mini Australian Shepherd and approximately 25lbs
* She would do best in a home with older children
* Due to her breed she does need stimulation and room to run
* Biscuit would also thrive in a home with another dog.
* She is a little lover and will devote her whole self to her owner
* She will need an owner that can continue to work with her and help her use her skills
* She currently is on an acreage and loves it! She even gets a long with the ducks!
* Her foster family has even discovered that she enjoys the water!
* She also does well in the kennel

Duke
This fan favorite buddy is looking for a foster or furever home!
Duke is approximately 2-3 years old and 65 lbs.
* He's not a shy boy.
* He loves his food and will try and eat everyone else's too so he will need to be with dogs that are not food aggressive.
* He is house trained, and will indicate he has to go outside by pawing at the door (but of course, when dogs are getting acclimated to their new environment may have an accident from time to time)
* He enjoys his puppy toys
* Duke is well mannered. He will sit and wait quietly next to you if he wants something.
* He knows commands such as Here, get down, sit, lay, shake, speak, inside, stay, no and go.
* He will also respond to hand signals.
* Duke is very loving and will lay his head in your lap or arm (He secretly is training to be a lap dog )
* He is friendly but can be protective
* He is great with children, chickens and small dogs and large female dogs, but will need to be monitored during times with other animals
* He is very playful and loves to run.
* He does okay with being on a leash or chain.
* He is NOT A FAN of cats.
* He can jump a fence so he would do best with a 6ft fenced in yard

Hazel
Hazel is a 1.5 to 2 year old Blue Lacy Dog with puppy energy for days. She needs constant mental and physical stimulation.
She will need a forever home with a fenced in yard and an owner with the time to continue her training. Hazel is a very sweet girl who’s love comes with all her energy.
-
She does not bark or make a lot of noise, but would be best suited in a home vs. apartment
-
She knows sit but will need someone to continue her training
-
She is good with other dogs
-
She enjoys walks but is scared of cars and needs continued training to walk nicely on leash
-
Children and cats/small animals are unknown but she is a puppy with puppy energy
-
She is kennel trained and house broken
-
She is a jumper

Madonna
Madonna is one of the bigger pups of the litter at approximately 12lbs and is 11 weeks old.
• She's a more "chillax" girl and very sweet!
• She could be described as "laid back" and doesn't like to get into the middle of her siblings shenanigans
• She is extremely smart
• Madonna is "litter box" trained. She is transitioning to be house trained and picking up on it super quick!
• She currently sleeps through the night with her siblings in a puppy pen enclosure
• She also does well with her resident foster siblings who are bigger pups.
**Please note we do not know what breed these puppies are.
We have NOT seen mom or dad. They were brought into the rescue from a shelter at 5 weeks old.**

-
He loves kids and dogs of all ages and sizes.
-
He is a SUPER chewer and can destroy most toys in minutes. Loves to chew on bones.
-
Balboa is Extremely loving and so very sweet. He told Just wants love from everyone he meets.
-
He is Heartworm positive, his future family must be willing to take him to his treatments and follow all veterinary care during and after.

Phillmore
Phillmore is a Black Mouth Cur mix and approximately 6 years old
๐ He fell on to some bad luck in his 6 short years. He was severely neglected by his humans and his collar was imbedded into his neck leaving large open wounds when it was removed
๐พ He was saved from the shelter and adopted, but his human moved and was unable to take him and returned him to our rescue.
๐ถ Phil has lived peacefully with cats and is dog friendly, but will need time, and slow dog intros like most rescue dogs.
๐ He is a sweet boy that just wants to find his forever home.
๐ฉบ He is up to date on vaccinations, is neutered and microchipped.

Chloe
๐พ Mama Chloe is done raising her pups and is ready to find her furever home!
* Chloe was a stray and taken to a shelter, where she had 8 puppies on Feb 13th. She took care of her babies until they were ready for their furever homes. Now it’s her turn.
* She is around 4 y/o and the friendliest girl who just wants her own love and attention.
* She seems a bit fearful of men right now, but is great around women. We are working with her to trust men, and taking it slow for now.
* So far, she doesn’t seem to have an interest in cats.
* Chloe will be spayed once the Dr clears her.
* She is up to date on vaccinations

Roscoe
๐ค๐ค Meet โโด๐๐ธโดโฏ ๐ค
๐พ He is roughly 2 y/o and has lots of personality.
โค๏ธ He is an independent spirit and has a big heart.
๐ค He likes to be near his people or snuggled up on the couch or bed.
He does has some separation anxiety (but wouldn’t you if you’ve been in 5+ homes in less than a year ๐)
๐ He is timid towards new people but learns to warm up fast.
๐ฉ๐ฝ๐ซ Being part border collie means he is smart and knows lots of tricks, his favorite being shake which he tends to do without being asked.
๐ He loves playing with other dogs but can get rough so other dogs in the household need to meet him in a neutral setting and be okay with roughhousing. ๐ Roscoe has a strong herding and prey drive. Not sure how he reacts to cats but a home without small children is preferred. ๐ณ He loves to be outside but needs work on his recall skills, because of this a tall fenced-in backyard is preferred.
๐พ Once comfortable, he shows a lot of protective behaviors in the home, so please be aware when introducing new people in the home.
๐ He sleeps in a crate at night but doesn't like being locked in one
๐ก He will need a non-destructible kennel if he is kenneled during the day

Sky
๐ Sky is approximately 1 y/o & 60 lbs
๐พ We are unsure of her breed
๐ถ She is dog friendly (best with friends her size)
๐ซ No cats, small dogs, or small kids
๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ง She is kid friendly, but does best with older kids (10+)
๐ She Potty Trained and kennel trained (but not a fan of spending f a lot of time in there)
๐ฃ Sky has lots of energy and vocal
๐ She is a sweet, big, puppy and sometimes doesn’t really know her own size.
๐๐ฆบ She would do best in a home with another big dog friend (She will need a playmate that is tolerant of her puppy antics. She plays rough, and needs a friend that won't get upset easily but will let her know when they've had enough. She does like to be the dominant dog, but does not react aggressively to correction from another dog.)
๐ง๐พโ๏ธShe would also do well with an owner that is home more than not and who is ready to work with her and continue to train/correct.
๐ฆฎ She will need regular exercise to help her release her energy. She is not a dog that can be left outside for long periods, she will bark.
๐ She can get anxious in the car (pants and is restless).

• He is "litter box" trained. He is transitioning to be house trained and picking up on it super quick!
• He currently sleeps through the night with his siblings in a puppy pen enclosure
• He also does well with his resident foster siblings who are bigger pups.
**Please note we do not know what breed these puppies are.

Louie (aka "Shadow")
๐ He is a mixed breed and approximately 40 lbs and 2-3 y/o
๐พ He came to us as a “fear” deemed dog that would have resulted in euthanasia.
๐ฅบ Shadow did and still does have to work through some fear but he has done a 180 since moving into our house.
๐ฆฎ He LOVES other dogs and is very submissive when he plays.
๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฆ He loves people once he’s use to them and loves to get cuddles and pets whenever somebody will dish them out.
๐๐ฆบ He walks well on a leash, but he is easily spooked so a secure collar is a must.
๐ฅฉ Shadow has showed no food or toy aggression, he really is just a happy boy. ๐ He not fond of his kennel at first, but lays down and sleeps.
โฝ๏ธ He loves to play with toys and may or may not think remotes are bones ๐ฆด๐ so he still needs some supervision.
๐ Shadow will need a gentle home. Sudden movements and noises still scare him and cause him to cower or hide.
๐ถ We suggest if he goes to a home with kids that they have experience with dogs and can appropriately give him time and space and teach the children in the home what this means.
